Mediterra Agro, was established in 2017 and it is engaged in the field of importing, exporting, processing and international trading of agricultural commodities and food raw materials.
Our head and trading office is located in Istanbul and our operational office is in Mersin which is the largest sea port in Turkey.
Mediterra Agro, as 3 separate A-Type custom bonded-warehouses in Mersin with a total storage area of more than 3000 m2 where our agri-commodities and food raw materials are stored all year around. Our custom bonded-warehouses are
just 2,5 km away from Mersin International Port (MIP).
The company's management team has more than 15 years in the international trade of agricultural products and commodities.
Mediterra Agro, has achieved European Commission (EC) No. 834/2007 and USDA Organic Regulations National Organic Program (NOP)
7 CFR Part 205 organic agricultural trade certificates as of the beginning 2021.
In addition to agricultural products and raw commodities such as Grains, Feeds, Oilseeds, Pulses, Rice, Sesame Seeds, Coffee etc. we are also engaged in the commercial activities of industrial food raw materials such as Desiccated Coconut, White Sugar, Cocoa Powder, Whey Powder, Citric Acid etc.
Our main field of activity is to import & store agricultural products and food raw materials in our company's A-type bonded warehouses which in Mersin port and sale them to turkish importers and producers on the basis of proforma invoice and to supply them to our customers in other neighboring countries as transit trade.
We are exporting agricultural products and commodities of Black Sea origin (Russia, Ukraine, Moldova, Romania, Bulgaria) to Asian countries on container basis, and in the future we will start trading wheat and feed raw materials and ship to Ambarlı, Bandırma, İzmir, Tekirdağ, Samsun, Mersin ports with 3000 MT coaster ships.
Mediterra Agro, is also one of the leading importers of african origin sesame seeds in Turkey such as Nigeria - Chad - Ethiopia - Somalia - Burkina Faso - Uganda - Mozambique - Tanzania - Pakistan - Malawi - Ivory Coast - Guinea and Senegal. We are planning to increase our trade volume gradually over the coming years.
